Gracie Abrams Performs ‘Dancing on My Own’ With Robyn and a Sea of Fans at Lollapalooza, turning the Chicago festival into one of the most unforgettable moments of the summer.

Gracie Abrams wasn’t “dancing on her own” at Lollapalooza. She had thousands of fans singing along—and a very special guest. Midway through her set on the T-Mobile Stage Thursday night (July 31), Abrams was joined by pop legend Robyn for a powerful, surprise performance of the Swedish star’s iconic 2010 hit, Dancing on My Own.

The crowd erupted as Robyn walked on stage, and Abrams looked both thrilled and emotional as they launched into the chorus together. Their voices blended beautifully while festivalgoers sang every word at the top of their lungs. At one point, the two artists shared a heartfelt hug, making the moment even more magical.

“Give it up for Robyn!” Abrams cheered before seamlessly transitioning into her own hit, Close to You, weaving it into the duet with Dancing on My Own. The mashup kept the energy high and the audience fully captivated.

The appearance came just days after Abrams made history with back-to-back sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City—her very first performances at the legendary venue. At Lollapalooza, she helped kick off the four-day festival before Tyler, the Creator took the stage to headline the opening night.

Fans can still catch Abrams on a few more dates of her Secret of Us Tour, which celebrates her breakthrough 2024 album The Secret of Us. The tour will wrap up with two shows in Mexico City on August 26–27.

With headliners like Olivia Rodrigo, Rufus Du Sol, and Sabrina Carpenter still to come—and performances from Doechii, Djo, Clairo, Katseye, The Marias, and more—Lollapalooza 2025 is proving to be one for the books.
